Kenny Chesney’s 2011 Tour A Massive Success
After taking a rest from touring last year, Kenny Chesney has returned back on the road for 2011 with his big Goin’ Coastal Tour. This American Country singer songwriter certainly planned this tour well with a line up of Bill Currington, Uncle Cracker and Zac Brown. Taking a year off from tours, he focused on filming projects but he later said that he’s been thrilled about reconnecting with his fans. This smooth-voiced balladeer indeed has kept his fans devoted to him over the years as he continues to knock off the stage with sexy cowboy hat on. He sure knows how to keep his fans as he is expected to his streak of seven consecutive tours having more than a million people in attendance.
This doesn’t come as a surprise because over the course of his music career, he has already been honoured with many awards from various award giving bodies like the Billboard Music Awards, six awards from the Academy of Country Music, People’s Choice Awards, six Country Music Association awards, French Country Music, and Country Music Television. Out of 15 albums he recorded from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), he has 14 certified albums gold. Chesney produced over 30 top ten hit singles on the Billboard Charts.
Kenny Chesney is regarded as one of the most popular touring act in the United States where each of his tours sell out tickets and venues very fast. Chesney’s Flip Flop summer tour of 2007 even turned out to be the largest gross road trip for that year. Although Chesney didn’t come out in the music industry with an immediate success, his talent, hard work, and love for country music became his ticket to success.
Now, he is at the prime of his career with all his tours being a major hit. This 2011’s Going Coastal Tour which started last March in the West Palm Beach has expanded to about 41 arenas. More dates and venues will be announced soon with the Kenny Chesney tickets to be available this December 2011. This tour is expected to finish up by 2012, and some of the venues have already been sold out. This big ticket seller of country music and one of the top touring artists of world, has again brought together this huge travelling road show for 2011. As of now, the tour has already exceeded the one million ticket mark even before the whole tour schedule is announced.
