Country Queen Miranda Lambert Continues to Reap Success in 2011

The award winning country singer Miranda Lambert had a great year in 2010 and there’s more for her coming up in 2011. After nabbing the 2010 Female Vocalist of the Year for the Country Music Association, she won her first Grammy Award for the Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her hit single “The House That Built Me”. During the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Lambert got seven nominations including the Entertainer of the Year. She had three wins including the Album of the Year awards for her “Revolution” album. Her first album “Kerosene” was released in 2004 and her second album “Crazy Ex-girlfriend” came three years later. This former Nashville Star finalist proves that it doesn’t matter if you finish third place in a contest as long as you have the talent and the determination to succeed in your field. Earlier this year, Lambert married fellow country singer Blake Shelton on May 14, 2011.

Presently, Miranda Lambert has just debuted with her new girl group Pistol Annies which consists of Ashley Monroe, Angaleena Presely, and Lambert herself. Their single “Hell on Heels” was released last May 2011, while the trio’s debut album, also entitled “Hell on Heels” is set to be released on August 23, 2011.

Lambert also announced last July that her fourth solo album “Four the Records” will be released this November 1, 2011. When asked about her forthcoming album, Lambert explains “Four the Records has so many meanings”. She also states that in this album, she has collaborated with her friends and heroes. Lambert also admits that she is hoping for duet with her husband Blake Shelton. Although the album is a solo, Lambert’s fans can expect to hear some different collaborations. “Baggage Claim”, Lambert’s lead single in her “Four the Records” album has now hit the internet after her fans has captured a video of her live performance of the single in July.

While her new project girl group’s debut “Hell on Heels” album and “Four the Records” album are soon to be released on the market, Lambert is still currently on tour for her “The Revolution Continuous Tour”. Miranda Lambert tickets for her Revolution tour are available for her upcoming fall tour dates. The last leg of her headlining tour will begins this September 8 in Terre Haute, Indiana. With two new albums out, 2011 proves to be another eventful year for Miranda, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year.
