Miranda Lambert’s 2011 tour dates for her The Revolution Continues Tour started on February 24 in St. Louise, Mo. Her opening acts include MCA/Nashville artist Josh Kelley, Valory Music Co. artist Justine Moore. The tour is named after Lambert’s certified platinum album ‘Revolution’ which was released on September 29, 2009. Revolution spawned 2 no. 1 hits which are ‘The House That Built Me’, and ‘White Liar’.
Miranda Lambert first emerged into the country music scene as a finalist in 2003’s season of Nashville Star. Finishing third in the competition, she regarded this as a blessing for she was not ready make a record just a couple of weeks if she ever won. Lambert got the best of both worlds as she was also offered a recording deal with Sony, but she has the time and the opportunity to make the kind of album that she really wanted.
After recently being married to her long-time boyfriend and fellow country music performer, Blake Shelton, the new bride isn’t ready to take so much time on the road just yet. She has recently announced date for her fall tour. This fall tour will be the last chance to see Miranda Lambert in concert and on the road this year. Lambert is first headlining tour for the album on March 2010 and she says she’ had ‘so much fun’, ‘with so many great bands’, and ‘some great artists’ who joined her on the trek. The opening act or supporting act on her last leg of the ‘Revolution Continues’ tour will feature Justine Moore and the Randy Rogers Band. Little Big Town, Pat Green, and Charlie Worsham will be featured on selected dates. The set-list may vary throughout the North American tour stretch. The trek will be launched in a show at Terra Haut, Indiana. About 20mdates have been announced for the tour so far, but additional shows are expected to go on sale soon.
After her ‘Revolution Continues’ tour, Miranda Lambert will be moving on to next project, her fourth studio album, ‘Four the Record’ which will be released on November 1. Miranda has also just recently released her girl group project Pistol Annies which hit the shelves on August 23.
