New Single from Miranda Lambert’s Upcoming Four the Record Album

After three consecutive major label albums which all went platinum in the U.S., Miranda Lambert has finished working on her fourth album Four the records with her new Miranda Lambert song now out in the market for everyone to groove and sing along with. As a recap, Miranda’s first major label album, Kerosene was a certified platinum. It spawned singles ‘Me and Charlie Talking’ which was co-written by her father, ‘Bring Me Down’, ‘New Strings’, and the title track ‘Kerosene’ which as certified Gold in the US. With that, she won the Top New Female Vocalist from the Academy of Country Music in 2007.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Miranda’s second studio album also reached platinum and it spawned singles ‘Famous in a Small Town’, ‘Gunpowder & Lead’ which was a US platinum, and ‘More Like Her’. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend won the Album of the Year from the ACM in 2008. Lambert’s third album, Revolution was a U.S. certified Platinum produced five hit singles including the EP ‘Dead Flowers’, ‘White Liar’ which was a US gold,  ‘The House That Built Me’ which went Platinum, ‘Only Prettier’ which was a certified Gold, and another new Miranda Lambert song ‘Heart Like Mine’.

There have been great expectations from Miranda Lambert’s new album with the release of the new Miranda Lambert song, ‘Baggage Claim’. The country singer-songwriter has released her latest and the first single off her upcoming fourth album, Four the Records which will be out in November 1, 2011 through Columbia Nashville. ‘Baggage Claim’ has made its way out in its studio version and it was rush-released on the country radio after it leaked.

This new Miranda Lambert song was written by Lambert herself along with her friends Natalie Hemby and Luke Laird. ‘Baggage Claim’ is a great taste of what’s to be expected from the new album. Lambert even said, ‘It’s the grooviest song I’ve ever recorded’, and ‘It Makes you want to revenge and want to dance all at the same time!’. The single includes background vocals from Josh Kelley, who was also one of the opening acts from her ‘The Revolution Tour’. The lyrics of the song revolves on the term ‘emotional baggage’ and this new Miranda Lambert song debuted at no. 33 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the week that ended on August 20, 2011. So far, it has been Lambert’s highest debuting single as it also debuted at no. 67 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for the week of August 27, 2011.

Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert along with her side project with the girl group Pistol Annies has also released their debut album Hell on Heels with the same title track. The girl trio Pistol Annies is composed of Miranda Lambert herself, and friends Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, who were both stars of their own. Indeed, there’s a lot more in store for Lambert fans this 2011 with two new album releases and Miranda Lambert tickets from the award-winning country singer.
