All The Latest Hits from Kanye West

Despite Kanye West’s issues over his temper and the buzz he created during the VMA Awards in 2009 (he stormed the stage and grabbed the mic from Taylor Swift who was just presented with the Best Female Video award and ranted off in support of Beyonce), West is still at the peak of his career with his latest released solo and collaboration album with Jay-Z. Although he was known for his oversized ego and outlandish behaviours over the years, this American rapper and producer certainly has the talent that made him very successful in his line of career. This 14-time Grammy Award winner has released chart-topping songs from his five studio albums along with other new Kanye West songs from his collaborative album with Jay-Z.

Kanye’s latest released solo album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was released on November 22, 2010. The album debuted at no. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, shipping about 496,000 copies in its first week. MY Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has been certified platinum by the RIAA. The new Kanye West songs released as chart-topping singles from the album are ‘Power’, ‘Monster’, ‘Runaway’, and ‘All of the Lights’. The ‘Power’ is the lead single off his fifth studio album. It featured vocals from Dwele and was produced by West himself and of Symbolic One. ’Power’ was nominated for a Grammy Awards for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 53rd Grammy Award. ‘Runaway’, the second released single from the album, features guest verse from Pusha T of Clipse and it debuted at no. 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone even placed the song at no.1 on their list of the Best Singles of 2010. The third single from the album, ‘Monster’, features various artists such as Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver, and Nicki Minaj. The fourth single from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, ‘All of the Lights’, was produced by Kanye and it featured vocals from other major recording artists including Alicia Keys, John Legend, The Dream, Elly Jackson, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John, and Rihanna. Rihanna is solely accredited as the featuring artist on the single. The single reached no. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no. 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts in the U.S.

There are also new Kanye West songs from his collaborative album with Jay-Z. Watch The Throne was released on August 8, 2011 by Roc-A-Fella Records, Roc Nation, and De Jaf Recordings. It debuted at no. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart and it sold 436,000 copies in its first week. The two singles from the album include ‘H.A.M.’ and ‘Otis’, both of which are chart-topping singles. Other new singles from the album include ‘Lift Off’ with Jay-Z featuring Beyonce, ‘Niggas in Paris’ with Jay-Z, and ‘Why I Love You’ with Jay-Z featuring Mr. Hudson. In Promotion of their album, the duo will hit the road for its promotional tour on October to December 2011. It is recommended that fans snap up their Kanye West tickets early.
