Watch Out for Miranda Lambert’s New Album

Miranda Leigh Lambert has become one of the rising stars of country music since she first paved way into the country music scene in her 2001’s self-titled independent album and after becoming a finalist in the hit reality TV series, Nashville Star’s 2003 Season. Miranda’s fame rose to heights when she released her major-label debut album Kerosene in March 15, 2005 with the Epic Records. Kerosene spawned singles such as ‘Me and Charlie Talking’, ‘Bring Me Down’ and the title track ‘Kerosene’. Kerosene went Gold in the U.S., while the album itself went Platinum. Lambert’s second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also experienced similar success as Kerosene as it went Platinum in the U.S. and it produced her highest-charting single ‘Gunpowder & Lead’. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend won the Album of the Year at the 2008 ACM (Academy of Country Music) Awards.

The new Miranda Lambert album, which was her third and latest solo album released, Revolution, went Platinum in the U.S., while it gained a Gold certification in Canada. Revolution spawned five hit singles consisting of ‘Dead Glowers’, ‘White Liar’ which was a certified Gold in the US, the certified platinum ‘The House That Built Me’, ‘Only Prettier’ which was a certified Gold in the US, and her last and final single for the album, ‘Heart Like Mine’. In support of Revolution, Miranda Lambert kicked off a year-long tour to promote her album from 2010 through the last leg of her tour in the fall of 2011.

Another new Miranda Lambert album is set to be released on November 1, 2011. This would be her fourth studio album and it is entitled Four the Records. The first released single from her fourth album is the track, ‘Baggage Claim’. Lambert also noted that in this album, she collaborated with her husband Blake Shelton. Just recently, Miranda Lambert unveiled her fourth album’s art cover. In the cover, it shows Miranda Lambert walking away from a burning vintage car. Lambert was wearing a dress showing off her curves. Lambert posted this album over on Lambert’s official site wherein the fans can upload their own pictures via Twitter and it will be added as a part of the mosaic of the album cover made up of thousand other Twitter images.

Miranda Lambert has indeed more to offer her fans this year. Aside from the Miranda Lambert tickets and album, Lambert has also released an album with her side project with girl group Pistol Annies consisting of herself, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley. These three women have displayed femininity on their debut album Hell on Heels (August 23, 2011) which is mostly composed of songs with themes of domestic frustration. The title track ‘Hell on Heels’ along with other two singles, ‘Takin’ Pills’ and ‘Bad Example’ stands out with a bad-girl rebellion subject. Their album is filled with old school traditional country sound, with a mixture of Blues, Americana, and Bluegrass.
