Award-Winning Hits by the Best Rapper Alive

Lil Wayne, the American rapper/songwriter was born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. on September 27, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lil Wayne is one of today’s most popular and talented rappers. He has been creating rhymes since he was eight years old. He grew up in the poor neighbourhood of Hollygrove. His father abandoned their family when he was only two years old. This is also why Lil Wayne preferred to be called ‘Wayne’ rather than his given name Dwayne because for him, it was the name of his father and his father has never been there for him. At age 15, he started his professional musical career when he joined the Hot Boys. He made a name for himself in the hip-hop scene and being in the spotlight for more than a decade now, he has been giving his fans only the best of Lil Wayne songs.

The music industry is known to produce great artists time and time again and Lil Wayne is one of its top successful rappers in the world to date. He has made his importance felt and known to the world by developing his own style of blending hip-hop and rap. Under his credits, he has a series of huge popular albums that contains chart-topping and the best of Lil Wayne songs.
