Miranda Lambert Tickets: More About Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert Tickets: About Miranda LambertMaking music from pure talent is common, but being able to launch a real musical career takes more than just knowing how to sing or strum a guitar. For Miranda Lambert, creating country music has never been the same ever since she gained fame as a finalist who came in third in the Nashville Star talent competition/reality show back in 2003. Some people call such huge breaks luck, but as for this sweet girl form Lindale, Texas, it’s her passion for country music that overcame the barriers to success.

Born Miranda Leigh Lambert on November 10, 1983, this singer-songwriter is the daughter of a retired police officer who taught her how to use guns at an early age, sparking her fervor towards hunting. When she turned nine, she went with her parents to a Garth Brooks concert that ignited her interest in country music. Her father is also into playing guitar and writing songs, and she grew up listening to Guy Clark and Merle Haggard. She entered her first country music talent show when she was 10, and when she performed on a weekly variety show, the Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue in Arlington, Texas, a real career ready to be launched slowly took its course. She took guitar-playing lessons from his father while developing her own songwriting skills, with renowned singer-songwriters such as Emmylou Harris serving as her influences.

When she was still in high school, she created her own band, Texas Pride. With her determination to pursue a career in country music, she graduated early from school and made an independent self-titled CD with the help of her family and friends. When she passed the auditions for Nashville Star in 2003, she signed a contract deal with Epic Records after finishing in third place. She released her first track in 2004, “Me and Charlie Talking” as the carrier single for her debut album “Kerosene”. This album sold more than 900,000 copies and went platinum in the United States. It also includes hits such as “New Strings” and “Bring Me Down”, which became high-ranking hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

As for her second album, “Crazy Girlfriend”, which was released in 2007, it became a huge hit that it reached the Top 10 spots on the Billboard 200 charts and country album charts. She was able to reach out to the listeners effortlessly with songs such as “More Like Her”, “Gunpowder & Lead” and “Famous in a Small Town”, which contain meaningful messages. She earned various award nominations from the Academy of Country Music (ACM), Grammy Awards and Country Music Association and won some of the awards, including the Top New Female Vocalist for ACM in 2007.

In 2009, she released her third album, “Revolution”, which includes the single “The Hose That Built Me”, which hit the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and gained platinum status after four weeks of topping the chart. The music video of her single “Only Prettier” had become viral to some extent. She busied herself with a new project, Pistol Annies, which is a girl group consisting of Angaleena Presley, Ashley Monroe and herself. She is currently working on their debut album, “Hell on Heels”, and her own fourth studio album, “Four the Record”.

Her fans have long anticipated to see her kick off the last leg of her 2011 tour “The Revolution Continues” in September.
